Michael Boswell is
an associate at Hartnett & Hayes, LLP. Mr. Boswell
has been with the firm since February of 2000. Mr Boswell practices business
law in addition to gaming and Indian law.
Mr. Boswell attended
Whittier College in Whittier, California. At Whittier,
he lettered in NCAA Division III Football and Baseball. He graduated with a
major in Political Science, and a minor in History.
Following his graduation
from Whittier, Mr. Boswell worked in the
construction, finance and mortgage business. These included positions with
Avco Financial Services and Ford Consumer Finance.
After several years
in the business world, Mr. Boswell entered the Whittier
College School of Law. In law school, he was active in several organizations
including the environmental and international law societies. At Whittier Law
School, Mr. Boswell also participated in the Law Review as both a member and
as a Notes and Comments Editor. Upon completion of his studies at the Whittier
College School of Law, Mr. Boswell graduated Cum Laude.
Mr. Boswell's business
law practice is designed for the needs of today's
business man, and includes the traditional services associated with litigation
as well
as assisting the client with the many different aspects of alternative dispute
resolution present in today's business world. Mr. Boswell also provides services
associated with business formation and operation. These services take into
consideration the individual needs of the client, and result in the establishment
of the
appropriate business entity, whether it be the incorporation of a California
corporation
or the formation of a Limited Liability Company. Additionally, Mr. Boswell provides
assistance in the operation of a client's business, including the development
and
institution of shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements as well as the drafting
of
business contracts. All of these services are provided in consideration of and
based
upon the individual needs of the client.
Mr. Boswell is a
member of both the California Bar and the Washington State
Bar.
